Choose the vessel, media, valve and backwash arrangement from the water analysis, service flow, loading and site conditions—not from vessel size alone.
The current H-TECH FRP Media Filter Vessel listing is KSh 24,000. Granular activated-carbon media is quote-only because the quantity depends on vessel sizing. Confirm final specification, availability, delivery and installation scope before ordering.
Treatment depends on the selected media and the source-water analysis. The current FRP vessel listing is for iron, turbidity and carbon media, while the activated-carbon listing addresses chlorine, odour and organic load. Confirm the target water problem before selecting media.
Choose media from the water analysis and treatment objective. Media may be selected for suspended solids, iron-related issues, chlorine, odour or organic load; do not assume one media type solves every source-water problem.
Match vessel diameter, height, media bed, valve and backwash arrangement to the service flow, peak demand, source-water quality, required run time and available site space.
A media filter needs an appropriate backwash route when the selected design requires it. Confirm valve type, available backwash flow, drainage and control preference during sizing so the media can be serviced correctly.
Service frequency depends on incoming water quality, loading, media choice, flow and valve operation. Monitor pressure and flow, follow the selected media and valve instructions, and review the water test when site conditions change.
