Quick answer: Herritech Ventures designs and builds H-TECH milk ATMs in its own workshop on the Eastern Bypass, Kamakis, Ruiru. A milk ATM is a refrigerated stainless steel milk tank with a controller and a dispensing valve. Every machine goes through the same journey: sizing, design, a written quotation, fabrication, wiring and controls, branding, testing, then delivery, installation and training. The photos below are from machines we built, dated from 2018.
Key facts
  • Built in our workshop on the Eastern Bypass, Kamakis, Ruiru

The milk ATM machine build journey, step by step

These are the same stages as our project planner (Plan → Design → Quote → Deliver → Operate). The photos are from real milk ATM machine projects. This is an overview; detailed build methods are taught in our paid assembly and manufacturing training.

  1. Plan: tell us what you will sell

What you sell or treat, how many litres a day, where, power and budget. You can do this yourself in the project planner.

  2. Design: we size the machine

Tank, pumps or treatment stages, controls and layout, sized to your volume and site, with easy cleaning and service in mind.

  3. Quote: everything in writing

Your quotation states the model, materials (including the steel grade), branding, delivery, installation and warranty terms.

  4. Build: fabrication in Ruiru

Cabinets, tanks and frames are cut, bent and welded in our workshop; pumps, valves, pipework and the controller and payment system are fitted.

  5. Brand: your name on the machine

Cabinets are finished and branded with your business name and colours when ordered.

  6. Test: before it leaves the workshop

Dispensing accuracy, temperatures for chilled machines, water quality readings for treatment systems, leaks, and every control and payment function.

Frequently asked questions

Who makes milk ATMs in Kenya?

Herritech Ventures designs and builds H-TECH milk ATMs in its workshop on the Eastern Bypass, Kamakis, Ruiru, and delivers and installs them across Kenya. The photos on this page are machines we built.

Are milk ATMs made in Kenya?

Yes. H-TECH milk ATMs are fabricated, wired, branded and tested in our Ruiru workshop. Our build archive has dated milk ATM photos from September 2018 onward.

How is a milk ATM made?

We size the tank to your daily litres, fabricate the stainless tank and cabinet, fit the refrigeration, valve and controller, brand the cabinet, then test cooling, dispensing accuracy and payment before delivery. Detailed build methods are taught in our paid assembly training.

How long does it take to build a milk ATM?

It depends on the model, branding and the orders already in the workshop. We confirm the delivery date in writing on your quotation.

Who makes the controller inside an H-TECH machine?

We assemble, wire and test our keypad controllers and circuit boards in our own workshop; the photos and videos from March to June 2022 show this work.

Can one machine sell both milk and cooking oil?

Yes. In January 2022 we built a combined H-TECH cabinet that sells pasteurised milk on one side and cooking oil on the other (pictured). Ask for it when you request your quotation.

Can my business name be on the milk ATM?

Yes. Machines can be branded with your business name and colours when you order; branding inclusions are confirmed on your quotation.

How much does a milk ATM machine cost in Kenya?

H-TECH milk ATMs cost KSh 95,000 to KSh 330,000 at current listed prices, depending on capacity and cabinet design.

Is a milk ATM business profitable?

It depends on litres sold per day, your buying and selling price per litre and running costs. Work it out with our milk ATM profit calculator before you buy.
